Helen Deirdre Playing Around Town
Our Irish guest musicians, Helen Gubbins and Deirdre Harnedy will be playing around town quite a bit over the next two months, so you have several opportunities to hear them. Here's a quick run down. The complete calendar is on the web site: www.moceltic.org/calendar.html
July 4 - Independence Day! Helen and Deirdre will be playing at the Fourth of July Festivities in downtown Columbia at the Courthouse Square from 6-7 p.m. They are the "warm-up" band, playing before the official start, so come down early with your lawn chairs and get a good spot for the whole evening.
July 9 - Helen and Deirdre play music 8 - 10 at D'Agostino's restaurant, Cherry Hill Village, Columbia.
July 11 - Helen and Deirdre on Pepper and Friends, 10 a.m.
July 12 - An evening of Irish music at Cherry Street Artisan, 8 - 11 pm. Helen and Deirdre will be joined on piano by Austin Dey. Wow! What fun music -- they've been practicing together already! Cover $3-5
July 19 - Irish music concert and dance at the Columbia ARC, 7 pm. $7/adult (kids free). Come help celebrate the success of Irish Arts Week!
July 24 - Irish music with Helen, Deirdre and Austin on the deck at Mojo's, 6-8 pm. No cover, tips are appreciated.

What a great spot -- Cooper's Landing is a campground along the Missouri River and it couldn't be nicer at sunset. Musicians are welcome to bring instruments and join in. No cover, tips are appreciated, of course.
