Dance callers

Christine Harker

Christine is a high-energy dance caller with many years of experience teaching Irish Set and Ceili dance, and some Scottish country dancing. She is an excellent instructor with a strong, energetic presence. She's especially capable with large groups of inexperienced dancers. 

Kat Difoxfire

Kat teaches and calls Irish set and ceili dancing, and American Contra dancing. She has been leading the CMCAA set/ceili dance club for the past two years with. With a background as an elementary school teacher, she is especially good for school programs and calling dances for groups with a mix of ages, and offering a mix of styles of dance.

Tim is an excellent fiddler who often plays for our CMCAA ceili dances. He plays Irish and Canadian styles, mainly, with a bit of this and that thrown in. He also plays classical music.

Tom is a singer and multi-instrumentalist (guitar, mandolin, bodhran and harp) who can put on a very nice one-man show of Irish songs and tunes, or collaborate with other musicians for a fuller sound.
