Board meetings
CMCAA board members meet on the first Thursday of each month at
Kayotea Tea Room from 5:30 - 6:30 each month. Meetings are
open to anyone. Please bring your ideas!

Most of our events and classes are
held in Columbia, Missouri, but we occasionally organize or
participate in events in the surrounding communities of
Jefferson City, Ashland, Moberly, Macon, Kirksville, Mexico,
Rocheport and Boonville.

Special pre-First Night concert for CMCAA members and FN volunteers
7:30 pm in the Lounge at Stamper Commons, corner of Broadway and
College Ave in Columbia.
Free-will donation only, no admission fee

duet from the Savoy Family Cajun group.
Musicians are welcome to bring instruments for
a session afterward.

Performances of special note --
Tony McManus and Beppe Gambetta
will perform a duo set and each an individual set. Tony is
considered the finest fingerstyle Celtic guitarist in the world, and
Beppe is a flatpicker extraordinaire! They have performed together
with the Nashville Symphony, and with the guitar-wielding supergroup
"Men of Steel, music of the steel-string guitar" (which also
includes Dan Crary and Don Ross).

Traditional music session for young people
Led by fiddler Tim Langen
This music session is a no-pressure, fun environment for
kids to learn traditional music. There is no age restriction
-- it's open to any young person interested in learning
traditional Irish, Canadian and American music. For more

Thursday Night
Music
Long-standing regular traditional music session. Location rotates
each Thursday except the first Thursday of the month, when we meet
at Kayotea on Broadway in downtown Columbia at 6 p.m. For
